Pyro-RIGHT™ Lead Molds

Pyro-RIGHT™lead molds are precision machined T6 aluminum alloy and cast 1" dia. x 1-1/4" lead cylinders for ball mill grinding medium. Aluminum blocks won’t rust, lead won’t adhere, and they heat quickly. But they are softer than blued steel and require gentle handling. If you treat these high precision molds with care and respect, they will last a lifetime.

Pyro-RIGHT™lead molds have been used and tested by rocket master Steve LaDuke!

Mold Handles are black oxidized steel with oak handles.

Use with the Pyro-RIGHT™ heating mantle and a lead pot or any lead furnace to salvage scrap lead or recast old beat-up grinding medium for flat smooth surfaces and decrease milling time.

For bullet casters, use the lead cylinders to test brinel hardness (BHN) of your alloy using a steel ball and your rocket press.
